Makati Hope Christian School Library envisions itself to be the crucial source of quality, relevant and comprehensive information both in print and non-print formats for the school community. Also, it strives to enable the members of the community to become lifelong learners. We envision a school community that embraces the core values of Harmony, Excellence, Integrity, Resilience, and Stewardship (HEIRS).
The MHCS Library’s mission is to evaluate, acquire, develop, organize, maintain, preserve and make readily available up-to-date information sources that support the teaching, research and learning needs of the school community.

To fulfill its mission, the library has set the following goals:
•    Know and understand the research, teaching, and learning needs of its users;
•    Enrich the library collection and create tools to support research, teaching, and learning;
•    Provide access to and promote the use of local and external information resources;
•    Establish conservation/preservation techniques for the library collection and resources;
•    Create hospitable physical and virtual environment for research, study, and teaching;
•    Collaborate with administrators and faculty to enrich the research and learning processes;
•    Develop, encourage, and sustain expertise, skill, commitment and an innovative spirit in its staff.
•    Observe silence in the library at all times
•    Respect people’s right to study undisturbed
•    Establish camaraderie with other library users
•    Develop an attitude of lifelong learning through reading
•    Keep abreast of current issues
•    Maximize use of library resources
•    Observe orderliness in the library at all times
•    Being responsible for borrowed library materials
•    Report immediately if any borrowed library material had been lost or damaged
•    Ready to adapt to new trends in information management
•    Persevere in learning new things
•    Take good care of library materials
•    Return books on time
•    Settle library accountabilities on time
•    Observe cleanliness in the library at all times

During Examination Week:         7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During Summer Classes:            7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
